What fees are there in addition to the price?

We don't charge a documentation fee. On top of the listed price you pay only what the state requires: Massachusetts sales tax (6.25%), RMV title and registration fees, and the state inspection ($35). Optional products like LoJack ($699) or an extended service contract are added only if you choose them. Text us at (508) 926-8831 for an out-the-door quote before you come in.

Do you charge a documentation fee?

No. Interauto does not charge a documentation fee. The price you see is the price of the car, plus sales tax and state RMV fees.

What is your standard warranty on used vehicles?

Vehicles we sell are covered by the Massachusetts used vehicle warranty based on mileage at the time of sale, whichever limit comes first:

- Under 40,000 miles: 90 days or 3,750 miles

- 40,000 to 79,999 miles: 60 days or 2,500 miles

- 80,000 to 124,999 miles: 30 days or 1,250 miles

- 125,000 miles and over: not covered by the state warranty. Ask us about an optional extended service contract.

The warranty covers:

Engine System: Engine block, head, flywheel, rotor housings, and lubricated parts, oil pan, valve covers, manifolds, oil/water/fuel pumps, fan, engine mounts, rotors.

Transmission / Transfer Case: Transmission case, torque converter, internal parts, flex plate, transmission mounts, oil pan.

Drive Axle System - Front and Rear: Drive axle housings, internal parts, axle shafts, propeller shafts, CV or universal joints.

Brake System: Master cylinder, vacuum assist booster, wheel cylinders, hydraulic lines, disc brake calipers.

Electrical System: Alternator, generator, starter, ignition system - excluding battery.

Steering System: Steering gear housing, internal parts, power steering pump, valve body, piston, rack.

Radiator.

Do you put the inspection sticker on the vehicle?

Yes. Our dealership doesn't have its own inspection license, so we use local certified inspection stations. A Massachusetts inspection sticker costs $35. If you prefer, you can get the sticker yourself within 7 days of registering the vehicle.
